Monster 500 - Intro. Post

Hello all,

I'm back to post about a recent obsession I've been dealing with. It is over a toy line called 'Monster 500' (or 'Monsters 500'). I saw these at ToysRUs years ago, back in 2014 and 2015. I didn't pay them too much mind. They looked really cool, but I am not a fan of pull-back or electronic cars. I thought they only made 6 of them and that was it, not worth it to focus on them. My mind was focused on hunting Mystery Minis and other knick-knacks gosh darn it! Those plastic figurines weren't going to hunt themselves!

Now its 2026, and guess what shows up in a recommended listing in ebay? What do you know, I remember them! Same thoughts as before rushed over me, they look cool but not my jam. Then I saw some show-up I hadn't seen before. Whats this, a werewolf? Some chainsaw psycho? A crocodile in a toilet? What. Wait, was there more to this toy line than I first gave it credit for? Yes there was.

After extensive digging and a lot of research (thanks 99% to the Monster 500 fansite and youtube channel), I was able to see almost all there was about this toy line. And let me tell you, I am both impressed, shocked about its history, and (as previously mentioned) obsessed.

Here is an archive link to the Monster 500 official website: Monster 500 | Meet the Monsters! If you dare! (archive.org)

Here is a link to the previously mentioned Monster 500 fan site: https://www.monster500fanclub.com/

(And if any Monster 500 employees or the host of the fan site ever wants to chat and/or geek out over the toys, feel free to reach out!)

Monster 500 is a toy line of monsters racing each other in a post-human world. Everyone has been zombified, so the monsters no longer have anyone to scare. They take advantage of the situation by doing what they love to do: Race! This brings you monsters like Evil Clownevil, Drac Attack, Captain Heinous (from Uranus), and many more! They are divided into different teams, such as 'Lunatic Legends', 'Freak Force', etc. which group the monsters into their own subtypes. Their designs are reminiscent of the classic Ed Roth's Rat Fink and other hot rod-like creature designs you've seen. Even their vehicles have custom appearances to them, like they were built by the monsters themselves. It gives them all a nice and unique feeling.

Below are renders/promo artwork of some of these racers:

Horror Classics Mystery / Vinyl Minis - Catching up, Looking into the Future

Hello! I'm still alive! I've been collecting Mystery Minis, especially FNAF and Horror stuff, the past year or so since I lasted posted (which was a little over a year ago). I do collect a lot! I sadly don't have much time to post or talk about things these days- this is a good thing! Bad thing for the blog, but good thing for me being busy!

Why I am posting today is to address a trend I've noticed lately for Funko Mystery Minis within the horror themes. Before I do that, I'd like to reflect on Funko Horror Mystery Minis and then talk about what is happening now. Let's dive right into my extra special long blog post!

News Post: Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - 10th Anniversary

Hello everyone, I'm back! And I'm here to talk about Five Nights at Freddy's again. I swear I collect a lot more than FNAF Mystery Minis (looking at my desk surrounded by various dinosaurs, monsters, anime, yugioh, etc. toys).

News from a reputable source claims that we are getting a new set of Funko FNAF Mystery Minis this year in preparation for FNAF's 10th Anniversary. This was reported on earlier this year, but time just flies by. Nothing outside of it being listed as "Mystery Minis" do we know about this wave. It was part of a list that included a Withered Golden Freddy POP figure and FNAF 1 crew statues, so that seems to imply it'll at least include some of those characters.

With that said, I'll throw my predictions out and see how close I can get. Assuming a set of 12 figures, plus most likely 9 exclusives, I'll try 18 characters. The theme seems to be tied to the 10th Anniversary of FNAF, so lets see how diverse I can get:

  1. Freddy Fazbear (FNAF 1, new mold/pose)
  2. Bonnie (FNAF 1, new mold/pose)
  3. Chica Fazbear (FNAF 1, new mold/pose)
  4. Foxy (FNAF 1, new mold/pose)
  5. Cupcake (FNAF 1)
Rationale: I think we'll get at least the four main crew and the Cupcake based on their appearance in the movie and them being the original crew. I'm iffy if we'll get a regular Golden Freddy or Endoskeleton or not though.
  6. Withered Freddy
  7. Withered Bonnie
  8. Withered Chica
  9. Withered Foxy
  10. Withered Golden Freddy
Rationale: With Withered Golden Freddy as a POP and it being the more 'obscure' character in the Withered line-up, it seems reasonable to assume the other Withered characters will be included.
  11. Puppet (new mold/pose)
  12. Balloon Boy (new mold/pose)
Rationale: I could see these two appearing as well. The Puppet is a key character in the series, and Balloon Boy showed up in the movie.
  13. Springtrap (new mold/pose)
Rationale: I think we'll get a new Springtrap due to his popularity and him being a key character. Alternatively, it could be a Yellow Bonnie (from the movie) or Spring Bonnie in place. I don't think we'll get any of the Phantoms as minis, even though they would be an easy recolor.
  14. Circus Baby (FNAF SL, new pose/mold)
Rationale: Her being a main character makes sense for her to appear again.
  15. Music Man (FFPS)
Rationale: Really popular character/meme, and was never included in the original FFPS wave. I would love a Scraptrap too, but considering his popularity I wouldn't count on it.
  16. Glitchtrap
  17. Dreadbear
  18. Grimm Foxy
Rationale: Another good character to represent the new villain of the series who hadn't got a mini before. He's shown up in Help Wanted 2, so I think he's still relevant. Likewise, Dreadbear recently showed up in Help Wanted 2. I think it would be weird to include him but not Grimm Foxy. Alternatively, we could get Captain Foxy instead.
  19. Sun / Moon (FNAF: SB)
  20. Glamrock Freddy / Gregory
Rationale: Sun/Moon is a popular character that hasn't had a mini before. I could see them being one mini or split into two (Sun and Moon). I could see a Glamrock Freddy and/or Gregory mini show-up in the series, with Glamrock Freddy seeming to be a new face for the franchise
  21. Character from Ruin DLC (most likely MXES or Mimic)
Rationale: I think we'll get at least one character from Ruin, and I think MXES would be the best fit (being the main antagonist of that game). The Mimic would be a good pick too, or Cassie herself (although if she appears they should include Gregory as a mini too).
Or this list could all be hogwash and the theme is Ruin/Help Wanted 2 (which would also be amazing), or is a complete recolor wave (please no)! What do you think of this list? Can't wait to see what is to come- guess we'll find out really soon!

Five Nights at Freddy's Fightline - Premiere Event, Experience and Feedback

Funko recently released a new game series called 'Fightline' that uses Five Nights at Freddy's characters. The game requires you putting three characters in a row and using them their abilities and your resources to fight your opponent's characters to gain points. Whoever gains 7 points first (by the various means within the game) wins the game! More information: https://funkogames.com/unleash-the-animatronic-chaos-with-funko-games-five-nights-at-freddys-fightline/ (this link seems to be dead now)

The game itself is fun, and I really like the idea of strategizing based on the characters you pick at the beginning of the game. It gives me a loose feeling of something like very early Yugioh, only with FNAF characters as the monsters, and only one monster on the field.. Alright, that is probably not a fair comparison, but I don't play many board games or strategy games if you can tell haha! I've really only played Yugioh (early on and in current format) and the occasional family board game go-tos like Monopoly, Scrabble, Uno, etc.

Anyway, I was able to attend the Premiere Event for the game, hosted by Funko at specific Gamestop locations around the country. More information: https://funkogames.com/five-nights-at-freddys-fightline-game-night-events-at-gamestop-join-the-fun/ (this link seems to be dead as well, see the bottom of the page for the text from the website)
This was announced only two days prior to the event, abut thankfully I was able to attend one not too far away. Below are my experiences and documentation of said event.

The event started at 5pm and lasted until the Gamestop store closed for the day. Funko employees were attending some locations as well to help with the event and promote the game. The Gamestop I attended had a table set up with the starter set out and ready to play.

Along with the 4 characters of the starter set, there were also 2 other characters included: Circus Baby and Springtrap. These two figures were unique in that they were completely silver colored unlike their normal figures from the mystery packs. These were exclusive to the event, and came in a package with the Premiere Event highlighting as such. Their cards were the same as their normal cards you'd get in a character pack. The Gamestop employee was kind enough to gift me one while we played with another opened set. According to this Twitter post from FunkoGames, these figures are referred to as 'Chrome Circus Baby' and 'Chrome Springtrap'.

After two rounds of playing I felt like I was starting to get the hang of the game. I definetly see the value in attack power and actions for the characters. Defense also plays a big role. From my time playing, Bonnie (Classic) and Freddy (Classic) were especially valuable team members to have. We only played with those six characters as mentioned, and I'm currently experimenting with other character pairs/synergy (may talk about this in a future post). I was also gifted participation prizes for participating in the event, which was very generous.

I walked away really enjoying the game and experience! I want this game to succeed (not only because its FNAF but) because its a genuinely well thought out and fun game to play! In fact, I've been recently been more open minded to playing more board games and strategy games with friends. Perhaps I can get them to play with me and help me learn the in's and out's of board games and strategy? Either way, looking forward to playing more!

Feedback
I was also told that the Funko Games employees were looking for feedback from the Premiere Event. Below is my detailed list (potentially too detailed) of what my thoughts are on the game, including constructive criticism and suggestions. I plan to send this to the Funko Games employees directly too:

Strengths:
Quality: I really appreciate the high quality put into the figurines and the character cards. In fact, all the material from the tokens, resources, and overall presentaion are all fantastic! The figures don't have any major blemishes, quality control is spot-on, and none of the material feels flimsy/cheap. You feel like you get a great value for the price!
Illustrations: Myself and many others really appreciate the use of Diana Camero as the illustrator, especially since her artwork is very appealing and fitting for this game! The character cards are very nice looking and add an extra element of collectibility to the game. They ave a lot of character to them!
Simplicity: I appreciate the level of simplicity for the game. That isn't to say its too simple, but its just that right balance of being able to incorporate strategy and not be overwhelmed with too much happening on the board. I think if more elements or collectibles were added (beyond the coins and tickets) I think it would overcomplicate the game.
Characters: The character selection is fantastic, and really shows FNAF fans worked on the game. You get a good variety of familiar and niche characters that would make any FNAF fan happy!
Actions: I like how several Actions are tied to the character itself, like Springtrap being able to die easily and to revive himself. Or the Shadows having good synergy. Or LOLBIT asking for coins for actions. Or Phantoms doing weird phantom things. I think my point was made haha- Anyways, myself and many others appreciate that care and attention put into the game!

Constructive Criticisms:
Action Clarity: The instructions which come with the game are clear, but I was still confused on a few points that I think need clarification. For example, if the Action of the character requires another Action, does that count as Two Actions if you activate it? Also, what does a Hit (!) mean versus rolling an Attack (circle, diamond, star)? When we played I was told the Hit (!) used the Attack value from the Defense Power, but that wasn't stated in the Instructions as far as I could tell. Perhaps an example in the instructions could help, similar to how some board games explain a hypothetical scenario.
Excessive Material for Character Packs: The character packs are really wonderful and include enough material to get started if you buy three of them. However, it seems like material from only two or three of these characters packs is necessary with anything beyond being excess. You are left with multiple die and resources which you don't have a use for after several purchases. It especially gets excessive if you already bought the Starter Pack and/or are trying to get the rest of the characters. I've bought at least 10 character packs so far, so the excess material I plan to recycle (including most of the die). I think there is a way the waste could be reduced, or at least reduce the quality of the materials in the character packs going forward in the future.

Suggestions:
Series 2 Characters: I would love to see more characters, especially including the Toy Animatronics (including Mangle), Endo-02, Golden Freddy, Fredbear, Spring Bonnie, the rest of the Phantoms (especially Phantom Freddy, Phantom Puppet, and Phantom BB). I'd also love to start seeing Withered characters (Withered Chica and Withered Freddy to start?), Funtime Freddy, Ballora, and FNAF World characters like White Rabbit and DeeDee. I'd like to keep going, but I think that'd be great for a start!
Boss Mode: In a Reddit Ask Me Anything post the Funko Games employees said they were also looking into adding this as an option in the future. I would love this myself, especially if that meant adding Animdude, Chica's Magic Rainbow, and Purplegeist to the series!
Items: These could be included as cards (and with figures if possible) you can include in your initial line-up. They could be one-time uses only and count as a possible Action. For example, Chica's Cupcake could revive a teammate, or the Fan could forcefully rotate the opponent's character line-up.
Unique or Passive Actions: There could be passive Actions tied to characters that restrict or encourage new strategies to win. For example: Candy Cadet or Rockstar Freddy (if added) could have an Action that lets you trade 5 Coins for 1 Point (or something like that). Or if a character like Vanny was added, she could have an Action that prevents all opponent Glamrocks from being able to execute both an Attack and Action. I think this would add additional variety and strategy to the gameplay.

Overall, again, I really enjoy the game and was very grateful to be able to attend the event! I look forward to seeing this game grow in the future as more characters and modes are added to the already fun game!

Update: This is the raw text taken directly from the Gamestop Premiere Event page which seems to no longer be active (https://funkogames.com/five-nights-at-freddys-fightline-game-night-events-at-gamestop-join-the-fun/). I'm posting this for documentation purposes:

Instagram Account Banned, No Long Using Instagram

Hello all, It looks like my Instagram account got banned for no reason. I am a bit upset about this because not only did I post nothing that would get me banned or break rules, but I had been using it for quite a while with information. Sad. There were some nice people on there I'd like to talk to again, but Instagram won't let me access my account. I refuse to give them my personal information or a picture of myself (what would that prove Instagram?). This may be a good thing since now I will be updating this website from now on if I ever post a toy update. I hope this blog site doesn't get blocked too. I guess we'll have to see!

News Post: Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series 10

(Updated post Apr. 21st, 2023)

The latest series of FNaF Mystery Minis has been revealed! They have left us all confused, but I think overall happy. That is how I feel at least. Funko's 2023 Funko Fair showed these off on January 18th, 2023 along with the rest of the Five Nights at Freddy's: Balloon Circus wave:

Here are my thoughts below:

Prediction Post: Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series 10

 * * * Please note that this is only a prediction/guess and not based on any news * * *

Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series 10

It has been leaked that there will be a new series of Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis coming soon! It was listed as "Security Breach - S2", which I think means this will be the second series dedicated to FNaF Security Breach. Based on this and how many characters we are missing from Security Breach, I'd like to make a prediction on who will be included.

Below are my predictions for the next series of FNaF Mystery Minis (Series 10):

1. Sun
2. Moon
3. DJ Music Man
These are almost guaranteed in my eyes. If we don't get these 3, then I'll eat my hat.

4. Vanessa
5. Gregory
Human characters rarely show up as Mystery Minis, but these are two main characters in the game. I'd be surprised if they skip them.

6. Glamrock Endoskeleton
7. Wind-up Music Man
8. STAFF Bot
9. Wet Floor Bot
I think we'll get most of these. Wind-up Music Man and Wet Floor Bot seem like maybes (it'd be very nice to get them though).

10. Shattered Glamrock Chica
11. Shattered Monty
12. Shattered Roxy
13. Glamrock Freddy (upgraded)
The shattered variants seem likely since they already made the main cast. I threw in Glamrock Freddy (upgraded) because he wouldn't take much changing and it'd be weird to not have a Freddy in a FNaF Mystery Mini wave. Alternatively, there could be a Glamrock Freddy figure with Gregory poking his head out like in the statue (that'd be cool)!

14. Burntrap
15. The Blob
I think we'll get these two as well considering how prevalent they are in the ending. It would be weird to skip one or both of them. Then again Scraptrap is still missing (coughFunkopleasegiveusScraptrapandMusicMancough), so who knows?

16. [Fanverse Character]
17. [Fanverse Character]
18. [Fanverse Character]
Sadly I don't think we'll get any Withereds or Phantoms in this wave. It would be really, really nice, but my money is on there being a store exclusive with Fanverse characters. They could even repeat what they are doing with Gamestop having Popgoes, Candy, and Blake as plushes. Ideally, I'd like 3 characters not associated with Security Breach to be in this wave so we can fill in those missing gaps from the past. My guess is they will stop at around 18 characters as Mystery Minis.

In some ways I hope I'm wrong, and in other ways I hope I'm right. I'm antsy to see the new Mystery Minis revealed and hope at the very least we get all the missing characters from Security Breach. If we can get a few from past games, like Withereds from FNaF 2 and Phantoms from FNaF 3, I'd be a very happy fan! In the meantime, I'm just happy Funko is supporting their amazing Mystery Mini line with new characters and toys! Can't wait to see what the future holds!

If you have any predictions, feel free to leave them down in the comments below! Thanks again!

Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series 7 - Introduction

Funko announced a new series off the heels of Pizzeria Simulator in July 2019. It felt like we just got Pizzeria Simulator, and to our surprise there was more! Not quite what we expected though, as this series was simply a glow variant of figures in the Pizzeria Simulator series.

It consisted of 12 from the Pizzeria Simulator figures in the normal Retail release (no exclusives). They even used the same rarities from that series too. There were no store exclusives for the series. They were slightly less easily available than the Pizzeria Simulator wave was, at least based on my personal experience. I rarely saw these in stores in a case of 12. If memory serves, I only saw them at Gamestop, Walmart, Barnes & Nobles, and maybe Target. I'm sure others have different experiences and it could have just been my area. Regardless, my point is I remember not seeing as many of these out there compared to the first Glow variant series.

Below are some promotional images of the series from Funko directly and online retailers (refer to [x] for image source, references posted at bottom of page).

Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series 6 - Review (Part 2), Conclusion

(If you haven't already, feel free to check out the Introduction Post and Part 1 Review Post)

This is a continuation of the the first series of the FNaF Pizzeria Simulator line of mystery minis. We reviewed the first 10 of the 18 figures in the first part, so lets get into the last 8 figures in this part!

Character: El Chip
Appearance: FFPS
Rarity: 1/12 (Retail Only)

I'm very happy they made El Chip as a Mystery Mini. His inclusion into the series was smart considering that he is a homage to Chipper from "Chipper & Sons" which ignited this series. I think this mini is really well detailed for adding his tail, his lute guitar, and sombrero. The yellow pins on his hate are off-center, which is actually accurate to the in game design. Very nice catch Funko! They nailed it!

Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series 6 - Review (Part 1)

(If you haven't already, feel free to check out the Introduction Post)

(I need to address the elephant in the room (not Orville).. I'm very, very, VERY late with this post. I've had the pictures taken, and I even edited them below. What was holding me up was priority and time. It is either this or that, excuse after excsue. When the latest Mystery Mini wave was announced I thought 'I can't wait to talk about this on the blog!' and then it hit me: I'm far from caught up! Here we are, March 2022 is about to end and I never even finished reviewing the FFPS wave. Anyways, here we are! I finally was able to play catch-up with this. I hope you enjoy!)

In this review, I'll be going over my thoughts on all 18 of the Mystery Minis from the Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator (FFPS) series. I'll review 10 of them (Rockstars and Mediocre Melodies) in Part 1 of the review, and the other 8 in Part 2 of the review. I've arranged them in an order I think makes the most sense. I will try not to let their rarity bias my views on the figures, as I'll just be reviewing them as a stand alone figure. Below shows the picture of the figure and my personal thoughts on the figure itself. Please enjoy Part 1 of the Review!

Note: Some of the names I'm listing may not be official. They are sometimes based off what I think is most appropriate, or what other more official sources may call them.

Character: Rockstar Freddy
Appearance: FFPS
Rarity: 1/6

This is one of those figures Funko just nails in terms of accuracy. The only thing that may help is making the bowtie and hat a metallic color, but otherwise it looks spot-on! I like how even though its brown, its a light brown that makes the figure come off as very colorful. Great figure of Rockstar Freddy!

Blog News - Website Updates

Hello all,

After many months of no updates, I'd like to bring this blog back to life. It's been on life support for awhile now, and I have been wanting to do more for it. My biggest roadblock is just time availability and an option to take clear pictures. I'm also working on a magazine project!

I'd like to give everyone a heads-up that this blog website will have it's format updated in order to take advantage of empty space. There are other pages, such as the FNAF Mystery Mini page, that will have its format updated for consistency and clarification.

In the process, some images may be removed from my webpage as its updated. If you'd like to reach out to me to request any missing images you are looking for, please feel free to! I have been there plenty of times, being unable to save images that were taken off a website. My reason for doing so is to clean up some images as I correct and update the format, and avoid confusion when going through my old files.

Thanks!

News Post: Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series 5

Series 5

The new series for FNaF is finally revealed! And I have very mixed, mostly negative, reaction. I have some thoughts on what happened. They are all based on the upcoming Security Breach game coming out later this year. Below are the promotional images (as of June 26th, 2020) for the wave. I took the images and re-organized them for clarity.

We've got Glamrock Freddy, Glamrock Chica, Roxanne Wolf, Montomgery Gator, and Vanny. We also got several variants of the characters... this wave is mostly variants...

News, March 2020 Follow-up

Hello out there,

I hope everyone is staying healthy and optimistic! With the COVID-19 situation, I see more people active online and looking into things they haven't in awhile. I'd like to take this opportunity to let people know I am still here.

It's been about a year since I lasted posted on here. I've been more active on Instagram ever since my last post. Instagram has been a good place to share things in a smaller and more social format. I also had joined a Bible study group and took Japanese language classes, which have kept me very busy in good ways! I haven't abandoned this blog though. There are several smaller projects in the works. I really like how this blog has turned out and will continue to expand upon it!

Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis: I do have all of the Funko Mystery Minis from the Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator Mystery Minis, both regular and glow ones. However I have been running into trouble getting good photos of them all. The lighting situation in my new home is not as good as my past one. I am going to review them, just may take awhile more. Also there are plans from Funko unofficially that they are planning for more FNaF merchandise, possibly two new waves. I hope this holds true as I've been really itching to get news from them on that.

Other Collectibles: I have been recently collecting the Mattel Toy Story Minis and have justed posted the codes for the blind bags as a page (similar to the Imaginext blind bag page). Mattel is nailing their Minis line! I really like them and plan to keep collecting them as long as they keep going! Very fun stuff!
Other stuff I've been collecting include indie toys of movie monsters and general monsters. The Jurassic World toys are sterllar, leading me to pick up a few of my favorite dinosaurs. Keshigomu toys have been a recent adventure in my collection, especially Godzilla figures. On that topic, I've been collecting printed Godzilla material, such as art books and collectible cards (Toho Special Effects to be exact). I've also really been into My Hero Academia, leading me to collect the Ensky Clear File cards (really hoping they make another set based on Season 4 of the anime + the recent movie). I'm not sure if I will post about any of these, but I thought it would be fun to share!

Other Goals: I've been looking into making my own toys too. I'd like to do that in the future as a long term goal. There are lots of ideas I have been fleshing out with drawings. Practicing drawing has been really fun too. I used to draw as a kid, so it is great to pick that hobby back up again.

Anyways that's about it. I appreciate those that have checked out the posts here and made comments. Feel free to leave comments and feedback, either here or on Instagram! In the mean time, take care and stay safe out there! See you next time! Thanks again!

Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series 6 - Introduction

Funko announced a new FNaF Mystery Mini series in December 2018. They slowly found their way onto store shelves in the first half of 2019. Some were also displayed in ToyFair 2019. It was the 6th Series (4th main Series) release, this time focused on characters in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator. Their arrival was much anticipated after the release of action figures, POPs, and keychains based off the same characters. It was a nice tease for things to come (and it being leaked beforehand).

Prediction Post: Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series 5

* * * Please Note this is only a Prediction, not News at the moment * * *

Series 5 (?)
After the release of Funko's Mystery Mini Five Nights at Freddy's Series 4, I wanted to do an updated prediction post on who could be in the next series (if there is one). I'm guessing the next series will be based off Ultimate Custom Night (and possibly tied into The Fourth Closet). The reason I wanted to make this was because Music Man and Scraptrap are missing from Series 4. Those two, especially Scraptrap, are popular/important characters in FFPS so it felt strange to look over them. Music Man plays a bigger role in Ult. Custom Night than FFPS. It would make sense to save at least one or two characters for an Ult. Custom Night series if you were planning on making one.

Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series Blacklight 1 - Review, Conclusion

(If you haven't already, feel free to check out the Introduction Post)

In this review, I'll be going over all 14 of the FNaF Blacklight Mystery Minis! They are unique color variations of previously released figures. I'll list them in order of first appearance of the figures those characters were based off of. Honestly I don't have much to say about many of these figures. I'll list some things I like, don't like, etc. for the most part. I have a Conclusion at the end where I gather my thoughts on the series, and followed by a ranking of favorites.

Note: Some of the names I'm listing are not official. They are sometimes based off what I think is most appropriate, or what other more official sources may call them.

Character: Freddy Fazbear (Blacklight, Pink)
Appearance: FNaF
Rarity: 1/12
This is the bear that started it all, Freddy Fazbe-err, a pinkish variant of him at least. I like how he looks since you don't see Freddy in bright colors often. He's a neat looking figure that pops out on the desk and even among others in the series. He's one of my favorites in the series.

News Post: Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series 4

Series 4
Some great news coming up! It was leaked that there will be another series of FNaF Mystery Minis! Just like the POP figures they announced, these will be based off characters in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator (FFPS). This leak came from the French website (who also leaked Series 3) Micromania. They are scheduled to release January 30th, 2019 now.

Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series Blacklight 1 - Introduction

In 2017, Funko released a set of Five Nights at Freddy's (FNaF) plushies which glow under blacklight. They were vibrant, neon variations of previous plushies, mostly of Freddy and Foxy. They were Funko original creations in terms of color choices. Later in 2018 Funko took this to a new height with more merchandise of blacklight variants for figures, POP figures, and mystery minis. The range of characters and colors was wider this time around. The mystery minis were repaints of the Series 1 mystery minis similar to the Glow Series. Below are some promotional images of the minis.

Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series 3 - Review (Part 2), Conclusion

(If you haven't already, feel free to check out the Introduction Post and Part 1)

In the last review, we went over the first 12 figures in the FNaF Series 3 Mystery Minis. These last 9 are based off of artwork for characters in the FNaF: The Silver Eyes and FNaF: The Twisted Ones. The artwork for the three toys in The Silver Eyes (who also were in The Twisted Ones) were posted in The Freddy Files book. The artwork for the five Twisted animatronics were based off the promotional artwork used for the books. The only one I am not sure on is the Springtrap. There is no (published) promotional art for him besides the recent The Fourth Closet poster artwork. The figure itself seems to be based off his demise in The Silver Eyes versus his resurgence in The Twisted Ones in my opinion due to the anguished look on him. Based off that alone I'll say he's based off The Silver Eyes appearance.

Anyways, enough rambling about continuity and designs, onto the review!

Character: Theodore
Appearance: FNaF: TSE
Rarity: 1/24 (Gamestop only)
This is the decrepit, toy rabbit Charlie owns in The Silver Eyes book. As stated at the top of the post, it's based off the artwork in The Freddy Files. The figure translates well from that artwork and still maintains the style of the mystery minis. It's not small like Plushtrap, but more the size of Toy Bonnie. It's a great figure and has nice, simple details (such as the cracks around the design). The nose on the ones I got were always off-center. I can't tell if that was a factory error or intentional for the design, but just something to note. It's my favorite of the three toy designs!

Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series 3 - Review (Part 1)

(If you haven't already, feel free to check out the Introduction Post)

In this review, I'll be going over the first part of the FNaF Series 3 Mystery Minis. This series included characters from (inhale):
• Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (FNaF 2)
• Five Nights at Freddy's 4 (FNaF 4)
• FNaF 4: Halloween Update (FNaF 4: HU)
• FNaF: Sister Location (FNaF: SL)
• FNaF: Sister Location: Custom Night Update (FNaF: SL: CNU)
• FNaF: The Silver Eyes (FNaF: TSE)
• FNaF: The Twisted Ones (FNaF: TTO)
(exhale) Whew! What a varied wave! I'll go through each character based on their first appearance in the games or date (with some flexibility). I'll start with the first 12 (based off the games), then finish off with the last 9 in the next review (based off the novel illustrations). Hope you enjoy!

Note: Some of the names I'm listing are not official. They are sometimes based off what I think is most appropriate, or what other more official sources may call them (ex. Scott Cawthon, Funko, Quidd).

Character: Shadow Bonnie / RXQ / RXQFAFSXC
Appearance: FNaF 2
Rarity: 1/36 (Gamestop Only)
This is based off Shadow Bonnie (aka RXQ or RXQFAFSXC) from FNaF 2. There was a Shadow Bonnie in Series 1 based off the FNaF 3 minigame version. This one is a great figure based on the design and likeness! There's a subtle two tone black only noticeable up close. My only nit-pick are the claws instead of normal hands. Shadow Bonnie was basically a recolored Toy Bonnie (who didn't have claws). Maybe that design choice was to make him more intimidating? Otherwise it's spot on, making him a favorite of mine!
