Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis - Series 3 - Introduction

Funko announced the next series of Five Nights at Freddy's Mystery Minis in 2018 and then released them a few months later. This series focused on characters from the first two FNaF novels (based off the artwork and descriptions in the books) and Sister Location. There were also four more characters from FNaF 2 and FNaF 4. This series felt like a good expansion to the rest of the line by giving us some characters outside the games and ones that were left out from Series 1 and 2.

An unusual (but not quite surprising) twist of events to this series was the approach to exclusives. This series brought us three store exclusive sets, each case no more than one exclusive. On top of that, their odds were always 1/24 (3 per 6 cases), 1/36 (2 per 6 cases), and 1/72 (1 per 6 cases). This meant there were 4 1/72 characters to collect, each with very high rarities. This set, in my opinion, was very difficult to complete and made it not fun to track down the entire series. Yet here I am, still happy to have each and every figure even with the stress and expense it brought to me during the hunt.

I will say this: The quality on these is very well done for such small figures. As usual Funko showed a lot of love for this series based on how well the character selection is and how well detailed many of the characters are. They also made a few highly requested characters, like RXQ and Nightmare! Overall the series was fantastic.
